What can I tow with BE?
With BE, you may combine a Class B towing vehicle with a trailer up to 3.5 tonnes permissible total mass. The technical limits of the vehicle must always be observed.
Do I need a theory test for BE?
For the extension from Class B to BE, no additional theory test is required. You complete practical training and a practical test.
When is B96 enough instead of BE?
B96 may be enough for vehicle combinations up to 4.25 tonnes permissible total mass. For heavier trailer combinations, BE is often required. The vehicle documents are decisive.
