Which vehicles can I drive with Class B?
Class B generally applies to motor vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes permissible total mass and with no more than eight seats in addition to the driver’s seat. Trailers are possible within the legal weight limits.
Is Class B also possible at 17?
Yes. With accompanied driving from 17, you can start training earlier and, after passing the test, initially drive with registered accompanying persons.
Does the test take place in a manual car?
With the classic Class B, practical training and the test are completed in a manual vehicle. If you want to take the test in an automatic car, B197 or B78 may be alternatives.
